Lawsuit alleges that Monnet has fraudulently represented herself as a doctor.

While nearly all of Monnet's education background, purported business successes, and board positions have been confirmed as fraudulent, it does appear that she successfully leveraged her fraudulent representations to gain certain credibility in the Tampa Bay Area community and has actually been named as honorary commander by the Sixth Air Mobility Wing at MacDill Airforce Base and president of the Tampa Bay Defense Alliance

Based uon my review of Creighton's internal records and documents, no documents exist in response to the Subpoena that would reflect that Lisa Kay Monnet, DOB: 06/22/1964, (a/k/a Lisa Guzman, Lisa Suzanne Monnet, Elizabeth Suzanne Guzman, Lisa W. Guzman, and Lisa J. Whatley) took any classes at Creighton University or otherwise received any degree from Creighton University.

Defendant, Lisa Monnet, meant to Deny that she has a PH.D. from Creighton University, and while thereby incorrectly denied the request, howerver, she meant to, and should have, Admit that she does not have a PH.D. from Creighton University.

Title XLVI - CRIMES.      Chapter 817  - FRAUDULENT PRACTICES

Misrepresentation of association with, or academic standing at, postsecondary educational institution.—Any person who, with intent to defraud, misrepresents his or her association with, or academic standing or other progress at, any postsecondary educational institution by falsely making, altering, simulating, or forging a document, degree, certificate, diploma, award, record, letter, transcript, form, or other paper; or any person who causes or procures such a misrepresentation; or any person who utters and publishes or otherwise represents such a document, degree, certificate, diploma, award, record, letter, transcript, form, or other paper as true, knowing it to be false, is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.
